Friska (“we” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy and maintaining the security of any personal information received from you. We strictly adhere to the requirements of the data protection legislation in the UK. The purpose of this statement is to explain to you what personal information we collect and how we may use it.

By using the App, you are consenting to the collection and storage of data, in line with this privacy notice.

Who is collecting the data?

5Loyalty collects information which is necessary for the use of Friska’s loyalty app, on behalf of Friska.

What data is being collected?

The following pieces of personal data are collected: name, email address, phone number, purchase history. Purchase history data is collected when you scan your individual QR code at the till. This includes the products you purchase, the stores you purchase them from and the time and date of your purchases.

We may collect data about the location of your device to provide you with information about stores near you.

What is the legal basis for processing the data?

Collection of this data is necessary for the functionality of the loyalty scheme. This is a legitimate interest of the company.

How will the information be used?

The information is used to calculate your loyalty rewards. We also may use the data to reward our most loyal customers or to provide in-app offers. We may use the data to analyse how the App is being used by our customers.

Will the data be shared with any third parties?

We do not disclose any information you provide to any third parties other than 5Loyalty, who is the data processor. Your data will not be sold to third parties.

How does Friska protect data?

Friska takes the security of your data seriously. It has internal policies and controls in place to ensure that your data is not lost, accidentally destroyed, misused or disclosed, and is not accessed except by our employees in the proper performance of their duties.

How long will the data be stored for?

We will hold your personal data for the duration of your use of the App. After 24 months of no activity your account and data will be deleted, unless you notify us to tell us that you would like your account to remain active.
